Our story.
We started in May 2023 as ColoDrops, with one aim: remote hands at a fairer price than the usual providers. Our first jobs took us into datacenters around Düsseldorf, working directly with the equipment behind our customers’ infrastructure.
As the team grew, so did our work. We added managed hosting and, in 2024, hardware services. Buying and selling server and network hardware became a natural extension of the work we were already doing on site.
In 2026, we became OptiByte Solutions. Refurbished hardware is now our core business, helping hosting providers of all sizes expand their fleets, replace components and source equipment for existing deployments. Colocation, remote hands and managed hosting remain part of what we do.
Based in Kempen, our team brings together engineering, sales, administration and the practical work of our drivers, technicians and warehouse staff.

2023

2023–2024
Grew to three technicians and took on Remote Hands and managed hosting.
2024
Added hardware services to round out Remote Hands and hosting.
2026
Rebranded to OptiByte Solutions. Hardware became our core business, with colocation alongside it.
